Etiquette Classes in Shreveport

Children learn table manners and proper handshakes at an early age, but adults can now improve their social skills with an Etiquette Classes in Shreveport. Nikesha Tyson of Swann School of Protocol has opened her school to offer classes to people of all ages; her goal is to offer people a modern, friendly approach to everyday manners that includes courses for individuals, businesses, universities and professional organizations.

She has assisted dozens of students with their careers over time, emphasizing how essential good etiquette skills are for successful living. “Being able to hold conversations with people from various walks of life and connect with everyone around you – this is very essential,” said Ms. Peatross.

She is passionate about helping young people develop social skills and confidence, believing that a foundation built upon respect and gratitude will lead to success. People can tell when someone is being genuine or is just putting on a show; she advised simply being yourself and true to who you are in order to find success.

Myka Meier is another local etiquette instructor. She has taught at both Plaza New York and across the country; her classes target boys and girls aged five to nine and cover both classical and modern-day forms of etiquette life-skills like holding conversations and making eye contact.

At LSUS Continuing Education, children aged 5-12 were taught all about proper etiquette and manners through Pat Smith-Timmons’ six-week class on etiquette and manners. This first-ever offering from LSUS surprised her even further when 49 children signed up!

Youth Etiquette Classes Level 2 will kick off again in October! For six weeks, weekly sessions will lead to an elegant five-course meal at a nearby restaurant – parents are welcome to come celebrate their child in style!
